To Whom It May Concern:

Getting engaged was a really wonderful experience. I started dreaming about where the wedding would be and how it would look.

I was living in Los Angeles at the time and I knew planning the wedding would be difficult since I'd be dealing with the vendors from a distance. I (acquired a list) of Portland wedding consultants but I would still have to find one I could trust. I started calling every name. Fortunately, my decision was virtually made for me.

Marilyn Storch called me back in under fifteen minutes, was cheerful, helpful, understanding, completely professional, and was as excited as I was to be planning my wedding!

I wanted to confirm that I would be comfortable with Marilyn and flew to Portland to meet her. I had the same experience in person as I did over the phone. The meeting was relaxed, informative and had I had the checkbook on me at the time I would have hired her on the spot.

A week later I had a contract, had communicated what I was looking for in a wedding and in vendor service, and Marilyn was already suggesting names.

With the long distance planning going on, meeting vendors and seeing sites was difficult. Both my schedule as a student at UCLA and my fiance's schedule as an executive meant we could only spend a weekend here or there to fly to Portland. Marilyn worked with our hectic schedule and we saw a dozen wedding sites, photographers and other vendors in 3 days, over two separate weekends in Portland.

I was truly impressed with how quickly Marilyn lined up appointments for us. She emailed me with updates and questions and sent me a complete schedule with addresses, phone numbers and driving instructions!

Her work continued in this manner throughout the planning process and the wedding itself. I could always call Marilyn if I had questions or if the vendors were not doing their job to my satisfaction.

The best part about the whole experience was how relaxed, supportive and cheerful Marilyn was through it all. I'd be worried, upset, stressed or even angry and Marilyn would have another useful suggestion that would help solve whatever the problem was.

When the wedding was finished, I had happy friends and family saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to and how much they enjoyed meeting Marilyn and watching her work! Everyone complimented me on the food, the photographer, the D.J., the wedding site, the cake, the table decorations and everything else Marilyn had arranged for my wedding.

Thank you Marilyn, for all your wonderful work
